I'm Mike and this is my blog.  I enjoy ColdFusion application development and do it for a living.  For years and years, I worked on small teams and then went into business for myself, being the only ColdFusion developer for my business.  The projects I worked on were small, and I managed to convince myself that I had become very advanced.  I was very wrong.  Over time, I met a lot of smarter developers with vast experience who were kind enough to show me the light and teach me new, advanced concepts.  I'm learning all the time and working to develop more advanced skills.  That about sums it up!

This blog makes use of the MangoBlog ColdFusion blog engine.  I selected it out of a desire to make use of it's API and write my own custom modules.  I have the Akismet plug-in installed to control spam along with the SyntaxHighlighter plug-in that supports ColdFusion syntax.  My theme was modified by hand to fit with the MangoBlog engine.
